Welcome to our community! We’re excited that you’re interested in becoming a member.

The AUDIO database is run by SASOHN on behalf of the Department of Labour and is open to anyone who has completed an audio course and obtained a certificate. The new 2026 membership fee is R350 for a 2-year period. Please fill out the form below to apply for membership.

R350 (2-year period)

A person with a qualification in audiometric techniques obtained from an institution registered with the South African Qualifications Authority (or any of its structures) in terms of the South African Qualifications Authority Act, 1995 (Act No. 58 of 1995), and registered with SASOHN.

Applications will only be processed when the following are received:

  • Signed application form
  • Certified copy of Identity Document
  • Certified copy of Audiometry Training certificate
  • Proof of payment
